Wow!!! First of all the Steak was very good! I had the small Rumpsteak and it was cooked to perfection! But what really stood out in my opinion were the sides! We had spinach, green beans and mixed veggies, and all three were amazing! I shared all of it with my vegetarian girlfriend, who had the grilled cheese as a main. She was also amazed by the quality and taste of all the sides and the cheese. Thank you for the perfect dinner

My husband and I enjoyed a stunning meal at Chamuyo. We ordered a shared plate - a four steak sampler, complete with chips and a mixed salad - and every component of the meal was exceptional. The steaks (rump, ribeye, fillet and sirloin) were cooked to perfection and melt-in-the-mouth delicious. They were beautifully complemented by the chimchurri sauce, and we savoured every mouthful. The home cooked chips were spot-on - so good that I had no regrets that skinny fries (my usual preference) were not on the menu. The salad was fresh, varied and delicately seasoned with a really tasty dressing. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly throughout the meal. A truly amazing place where the superb food is matched by top-notch service and an intimate atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We recently visited this restaurant for a celebration after seeing it promoted on TikTok as halal-friendly. I tried reaching out beforehand via email and TikTok to confirm the halal status, unfortunately, I never received a response. Despite the lack of communication, we decided to give it a try. The menu included items like chorizo, which is traditionally made with pork. Given the way the restaurant was marketed, I assumed it might be a halal or beef-based alternative. When we asked in person, we were told the beef was halal, but there was no clear explanation about other items. For those who strictly follow a halal diet, please note: • They do serve pork (e.g., chorizo). • They do serve alcohol. • Only some of the meats may be halal so it’s definitely worth checking in person and being specific. On a positive note, the steak itself was excellent, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. But the service left much to be desired. Our waiter seemed moody and unwelcoming, which affected the overall atmosphere. Customer service overall was below average. For the price we paid, and considering the overall experience and service, I honestly believe there are better options nearby. There’s a great halal steak restaurant in close proximity that I’d much rather choose in the future for both peace of mind and better service. Would I go back? Maybe for the steak. But for service, hospitality, and halal transparency no, I wouldn’t. I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision, especially those with dietary concerns.

I was so hungry that I completely forgot to take pictures before diving into my meal at this amazing restaurant. Everything was perfect! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the dessert called 'Don Pedro' was something else entirely. Highly recommended!
